Asociatia Habilitas and Asociatia Pro Vobis (Romania), Anziani e non solo (Italy), Evropskarozovojovaagentura (Czech Republic), and the Gaiety School of Acting (Ireland) are pleased to invite you to the closing events of the Erasmus+project CREA.T.Y.V. -CREATIVE DRAMA FOR TRAINING YOUNG VOLUNTEERS IN INTERGENERATIONAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS. The events will take placein Dublin, Bucharest, Prague, and Carpi (Modena) in the second half of March 2019. In Bucharest, it will take place on the 27th March 2019. They will target volunteering organisations, NGOs, public authorities, and any other relevant stakeholders that are willing to deepen their knowledge on intergenerational volunteering and innovative ways to train volunteers in intergenerational settings, in particular through creative drama.

CREA.T.Y.V. is a two-year Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships for Youth project which aims to help young people with fewer opportunities to build up their skills and potential through intergenerational volunteering opportunities. In the last two years, it has trained young people from Romania, Czech Republic and Italy through creative drama in intergenerational environments, offering them the opportunity to develop social and civic competences. Using creative drama in training has allowed the project to help people, in particular younger and older generations, improve their self-confidence and skills through intergenerational exchanges, thus breaking stereotypes on age and promoting mutual understanding.

During the multiplier events of this month, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the project’s lessons learned through the above mentioned activities. In particular, they will get information on the CREATYV Intergenerational Training Programme in the field of volunteering, its guide on intergenerational volunteering and its policy recommendations on how policy makers can promote non-formal learning opportunities to people with fewer opportunities through intergenerational volunteering and learning opportunities. The above mentioned documents can also be downloaded here on the CREATYV website. Videos summarizing the project’s highlights are also available online (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSkEzq_HY8Y&feature=youtu.be) and presented during the multiplier events.
